3. Your Content

Ownership

You retain all rights to content you create using Author's Forge. We claim no ownership, license, or rights to your writing. Your words are yours, period.

Responsibility

You're responsible for your content, including:

• • Ensuring you have rights to any content you import
• • Not violating others' copyrights or intellectual property
• • Backing up your work (we strongly recommend regular backups)
• • Any consequences of sharing or publishing your content

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Author's Forge to:

• • Violate any laws or regulations
• • Infringe on others' intellectual property rights
• • Attempt to hack, modify, or distribute pirated versions

5. Privacy & Data

Your privacy is paramount. As detailed in our Privacy Policy:

• • We don't access, read, or store your writing
• • You control where and how your data is stored
• • Optional features may require internet connectivity

6. Software Updates

We may release updates to improve the Software. While updates are optional, we recommend staying current for the best experience and security. Major updates will always respect backward compatibility with your existing work.

7. Paid Features (Future)

When we introduce premium features:

• • Subscriptions can be cancelled anytime
• • Your content remains accessible even without premium

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. While we work hard to make Author's Forge reliable, we cannot guarantee:

• • It will meet all your specific needs
• • There will be no data loss (please backup!)
• • Continuous, uninterrupted operation

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION.

Our maximum liability to you for any claims shall not exceed the amount you've paid us in the past twelve months (which is $0 for free users).

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Author's Forge, its officers, employees, and partners from any claims arising from:

11. Termination

You may stop using Author's Forge at any time. We may terminate or suspend your access if you violate these terms. Upon termination:
